We are a group of people, originally from Sierra Leone, who are presently living in Leiden
We came here trying to escape the atrocities of the Civil War and it's aftermath.
We started meeting informally to help each other deal with the traumas of the past while trying to build a new life in Leiden.
We also wanted to reach out to the people we left behind, and contribute to the (re)development of Sierra Leone.
Therefore we founded the Sierra Leone Humanitarian Association
